AI-native CTO for early-stage founders

I built the tech behind Endomondo (exited to Under Armour) and Simple Feast. Now I bring that same senior judgment to your MVP — faster, because I build with AI.

    My Services

Two ways to work together, depending on where you are.

    Fractional CTO

Hands-on technical leadership for founders who need senior judgment without a full-time hire. I set technical direction, make the key architecture calls, and build alongside you. Ideal when you have a technical vision but need an experienced partner to execute and scale it.

    AI-Native MVP Development

I take your product idea from zero to launched MVP — UX, architecture, code, deployment. AI-accelerated workflows let me ship in weeks what used to take a team months, without compromising the foundations you'll need to scale. Ideal when you have an idea and need it built properly, fast.

    How I Work

I work with a small number of founders at a time, as a hands-on fractional CTO and builder. Typical engagements look like this:

    • Shape (1–2 weeks) We align on the product vision, cut scope to what actually matters for the MVP, and agree on architecture and tech choices. You leave this phase with a clear build plan and a realistic timeline.
    • Build (6–12 weeks) I build the MVP end-to-end — UX, architecture, code, deployment. AI-native workflows let me move at a pace that used to require a team, without cutting corners on the foundations you'll need to scale later.
    • Iterate & hand off Once you have users, I stay on to iterate toward product-market fit and help you hire the first engineers when the time comes. I build to be handed over, not to lock you in.

Pricing: Project-based fees, with the option to convert part of the fee into equity or revenue share when incentives align. I'd rather have fewer clients and share in their upside than bill by the hour.

    Track Record

I've been in your shoes. I've founded startups, written the first lines of code, grown engineering teams, and scaled products into businesses with real exits. I know what it takes — and how to get the foundations right from day one.

    Endomondo

    CTO, 2008-2013

A world-leading fitness network with 20+ million users, acquired by Under Armour for $85 million. I joined at the company's inception, coded the first version of the product, and scaled the development team to 25+ people across Denmark, the US, and Poland.

A foodtech scaleup that raised $100M+ to deliver plant-based meal kits in Denmark, Sweden, and Los Angeles, scaling to 150+ employees. As CTO and co-founder, I built and led the technology across the entire operation — e-commerce, food production, procurement, data science, and customer experience.

    Nxus

    Nxus

    CTO, 2025

An AI-native platform for screening and due diligence of investment cases in infrastructure and venture, using LLMs to extract meaningful datapoints and summaries from massive data rooms. Built in 8 weeks using AI-native development workflows.

A crowdsourced weather service based on an innovative wind meter using magnets whose rotation can be measured by fluctuations in a smartphone’s compass. Acquired by Weatherflow.

    Contact

I take on a small number of new engagements each year. If you're an early-stage founder with an idea you're serious about, send a short note about what you're building and where you are in the journey.
